Welcome to my Noonday Collection site! I'm certainly glad you are are here - please prepare yourself to be addicted! The beautiful designs and powerful stories combined make this a one of a kind shopping experience, you can take it from me - a self proclaimed accessorize-ista (yes, I made that up). My name is Wynne & I want to let you into a little bit about my story. My life since summer of 2010 has been ROCKED. My mind has been opened to the needs of the poor and oppressed and my heart has been challenged to step in and do something about it, because we CAN do something about it. Last summer, God started speaking to me about international adoption. I signed up for an adoption conference in the fall of 2010 & it was there that I met Jessica and was introduced to Noonday Collection. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful jewelry pieces and I was also full of questions about the women who made them. It was so fascinating to me - I could both look cute & fashionable while helping women make a sustainable living for their families.
At that conference, God grabbed a hold of my husband and we made the official family decision to adopt from Africa! We are now in the process of bringing our little boy, his name is Camp, home from Ethiopia. In the middle of fundraising through garage sales, t-shirt sales, etc. I decided to also have a Noonday Collection trunk show. I wanted to let people who wanted to support us & our adoption also be educated in how to be fashionable & also satisfy the needs of the oppressed all at the same time. Educating women about Noonday is something I've become very passionate about and I want other women to know that when they go to buy a gift for a special friend or something beautiful for themselves - it can also be something that tells a story, that helps someone half way around the globe. So we had our first trunk show and we had SO MUCH FUN. My friends loved getting beautiful new pieces and I loved helping them look fabulous. My heart for adoption and my love of wearing beautiful accessories has merged! Who would have thought?
